Let it be known: I spend an awful amount of time on YouTube. Mostly watching videos but also commenting and I also used to create videos for YouTube myself.
Guess what!! I’m making videos again. I’ll be working on writing a post here, for just about every video I make. I took a hiatus from creating videos early spring this year. I don’t know what happened, I just didn’t feel like making videos.
Now that I really have gotten the creating video spirit over me again. I found a huge interest in crating, which sparked the video interest again.

Another blank period, where I haven’t posted anything. I have been super busy and also not felt like posting/writing anything… I have been so focused on woodworking for a very long time, not much else have “gone through” my screens. Just not anything I’ve thought was post-able. I think maybe I’ll start writing more even if…

Spring seems to be upon us, and that’s the time to start thinking about two wheels.
I had a scooter (I don’t have a drivers license for over 50cc 🙁 ) a couple of months last year, but sold it when I got a very nice offer that made me some extra cash. Continue reading “Two wheels!!”
Well, this is a bit of a weird change for me…
I have been a PC man ever since I started using computers. I am a trained computer tech, and worked as a systems admin for several years. However, after several years of working 24/7, I burned out and I’ve never worked professionally with computer or systems since.
I have never worked with Mac’s or Apple products professionally, and I have in fact never actually used their products. A year and a half ago, I borrowed an Ipad and used it for a while. I was so impressed with it I went out and bought my own. Continue reading “A huge change for me!”
Been a few days since my last post, so I thought I’d write a sort of a “summery”.
Most of my time has been going towards research about RC and specifically HPI Maverick Strada 1/10th MT Evo. Continue reading “Not much going on”
A lot happened in the last two days!
I decided to make a tutorial on how to make static running lights for you RC truck. I really wanted lights on my truck, but didn’t feel it was worth investing in a lighting kit. You know, the type you can control with a spare channel on the Tx/Rx. Having a basic understanding of electronics, I went the DIY route, as you can read in this article and see in the video. Continue reading “RC Light Tutorial/HowTo”
I’m having a hard time getting sleep these days, and thus have a bit more time on my hands. Since there’s not much to do in the middle of the night, I might as well write.
I wrote about a Blazer nitro that I got, and am thinking of remaking/rebuilding. Well, turns out getting parts are a bit of a hassle so it’s been put on the back burner. I’ve got a lot of ideas, but not yet the know how to make them a reality. Continue reading “Can’t seem to get any sleep these days”
Hey guys, new project coming!
I have always wanted to have a real R/C car and/or plane! Buying a “high-end” car/plane can set you back, a fair bit. I’m always looking in the classifieds and online to see if anyone is selling, but usually they’re to pricey and/or already sold. Continue reading “Blazer project intro”
Just a quick post today as it has been a very busy day…
Here’s the video I shot today. Please excuse the poor lighting,
small space, and bad camera work!
I got a very good deal today, at least I think I did.
I responded to an ad on a site called Finn.no )it’s sort of like CraigsList. A guy was selling three parts cars, all nitro fueled, two with servos. I have no experience with nitro, at all. I’m guessing I’ll sell some parts (engine(s), wheels, etc.

I’ve had this cheap-o toy RC car for some time, but it’s really boring and slow. It’s one of those mass produced things, that comes with it’s own “transmitter”. Continue reading “Remaking a RC toy car #1”
